JoAnn Newberry serves as the Director of LaVigne Home and is honored to lead the organization in its mission. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and brings over 14 years of experience in clinical and end of life care. JoAnn is also a devoted mother to three children, one boy and two girls, who bring joy and purpose to her life each day. Guided by her faith in Jesus, she feels deeply called to this work and believes her path has been shaped by a passion for serving others in a meaningful way.

Heather Tebbenhoff
Heather brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership and community engagement, with a strong belief in the power of connection to create meaningful impact. In her role, she partners with volunteers, community organizations, and supporters to help advance the mission and build a strong, engaged network.
She leads volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling, ensuring each individual feels welcomed, supported, and prepared to serve. Heather also coordinates community engagement activities and events, builds meaningful partnerships with local organizations, and maintains thoughtful communication with volunteers and stakeholders. She is passionate about creating a warm, inclusive environment where others can connect, contribute, and make a difference.
Recently relocated to Genesee County, Heather is excited to connect with her community. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and discussing books, playing board games, and exploring her new surroundings with her husband and their senior pit bull, Dexter.
